Law enforcement grade OC pepper spray for non-lethal threat control

A message from the Security Pro USA team

At Security Pro USA, we don’t sell fear.
We sell time, distance, and choice.

Every product we carry — especially pepper spray / OC spray — is selected with one principle in mind:

Resolve danger without creating permanent harm.

That belief guides how we serve civilians, law enforcement, schools, and government agencies nationwide.

Why Non-Lethal First Matters

In the real world, most threats don’t need to end in irreversible outcomes.

When deployed responsibly, pepper spray:

  • Creates immediate disengagement

  • Buys seconds that save lives

  • Allows escape instead of escalation

  • Preserves dignity for everyone involved

That’s not weakness.
That’s restraint — and professionalism.

CIVILIAN SAFETY

For civilians, pepper spray is not about confrontation.
It’s about getting away safely.

Our customers consistently tell us:

“I don’t want to hurt someone — I just need time to escape.”

That’s why we carry civilian-legal pepper spray options designed for:

  • Everyday carry

  • Travel-friendly sizes

  • Clear deployment patterns

  • Responsible personal defense

Pepper spray remains one of the most humane last-resort tools available to everyday people.

LAW ENFORCEMENT & SECURITY

For professionals, non-lethal tools expand — not replace — decision-making.

Professionally deployed OC pepper spray:

  • Reduces firearm reliance

  • Lowers injury claims

  • Supports force-continuum compliance

  • Improves post-incident outcomes

In countless incidents, OC spray has ended threats without baton strikes, tasers, or firearms — protecting officers, subjects, and agencies alike.

That’s operational maturity.

SCHOOL SAFETY & ADMINISTRATORS

School safety demands measured, defensible solutions.

Non-lethal options like pepper spray:

  • Are compact and accessible

  • Support escape and lockdown procedures

  • Avoid permanent injury risks

  • Align with de-escalation policies

When paired with training and first-aid protocols, non-lethal tools become part of a layered safety strategy, not a reactionary one.

GOVERNMENT / GSA / DHS / FEMA

Security Pro USA supports public agencies with professionally sourced, compliant non-lethal solutions, including OC pepper spray suitable for:

  • Law enforcement

  • Transit security

  • Corrections

  • Emergency response

  • Facility protection

Our approach emphasizes:

  • Risk reduction

  • Liability awareness

  • Officer and civilian safety

  • Responsible deployment standards

Non-lethal tools are not alternatives to policy — they are tools that support it.

RESPONSIBILITY & FIRST AID

Selling non-lethal tools comes with responsibility.

We actively educate customers on:

  • Proper deployment

  • Safe distances

  • Post-exposure first aid

  • Medical escalation awareness

Pepper spray effects are intense but temporary when handled correctly — and recovery is expected.
Education is what keeps non-lethal solutions humane.

If You’re Hit With Pepper Spray — DO THIS IMMEDIATELY

1️⃣ Get to fresh air

  • Move away from the spray cloud

  • Stay upright

  • Try to stay calm (panic makes breathing worse)

2️⃣ Do NOT rub your eyes or skin

Rubbing spreads the oil and makes it worse.

3️⃣ Flush eyes with LOTS of water

This is the most important step.

  • Use clean water or saline

  • Flush 15–30 minutes

  • Blink rapidly while flushing

  • Tilt head to the side so it doesn’t run into the other eye

  • Remove contact lenses ASAP

Do NOT use: milk, oils, vinegar, baby shampoo, or soap in the eyes (all myths).

4️⃣ Blot skin first — then wash

  • Gently blot with paper towels or cloth (don’t wipe)

  • Wash skin with cool water + mild soap

  • Repeat if needed

  • Remove contaminated clothing and seal in a bag

💡 Dish soap works better than body wash (pepper spray is oily).

5️⃣ Control breathing

  • Slow, deep breaths

  • Lean slightly forward

  • Coughing is normal and temporary

  • Avoid lying flat

🚑 Call 911 if:

  • Breathing trouble lasts over 30 minutes

  • Severe wheezing or chest pain

  • Asthma attack

  • Person collapses or can’t respond

6️⃣ Cool shower later

  • Use cool water only

  • Let water flow downward

  • Expect some re-burning — that’s normal

  • Avoid hot water for several hours

⏱️ What to Expect

  • Severe burning: 15–45 minutes

  • Residual irritation: a few hours

  • Full recovery: within 24 hours for most people

⚠️ Extra Caution Needed For:

  • Asthma or lung disease

  • Heart conditions

  • Children or elderly

  • Close-range or repeated exposure

Seek medical care sooner if any of these apply.
