Garner PD-5 IRONCLAD Hard Drive Destroyer
Supplier reference pricing. Online purchasing awaits current-price, availability and delivery confirmation.
The Garner PD-5 IRONCLAD combines an electrically driven PD-5 hard drive crusher and IRONCLAD destruction reporting.
Configuration and use
The PD-5 uses more than 10 tons of force to bend and damage hard drives. Its electric drive avoids hydraulic-fluid handling, and the front chamber lets operators inspect the physical result.
The equipment monitors crush depth and displays cycle and diagnostic information. The manufacturer specifies an approximately 20-second destruction cycle. Actual job throughput depends on drive size, loading and documentation.
IC-PD5 adds image capture and reports that can include crush depth, media identifiers and operator details. This supports documentation of the physical-destruction step; it does not turn HDD crushing into magnetic erasure.

Before ordering
- Physical HDD deformation and magnetic erasure are different steps. Select a separate degausser where your procedure requires it.
- Any HDD equipment listing applies to its specified HDD process, not automatically to SSD destruction or a complete mixed-media package.
- Confirm the permitted media dimensions and preparation for the selected attachment.
Request a quote with the part number, quantity, media types and dimensions, required verification records, electrical configuration and delivery location. Frequently asked questions
Does this configuration include SSD processing?
No. This configuration is the HDD crusher; add SSD-1 or choose PD-5SSD for supported solid-state media.
Is this a hydraulic crusher?
No. PD-5 uses an electric drive, without hydraulic fluid.
Does crushing replace degaussing?
No. These are different processes. Follow your media policy and use the required degaussing step for magnetic drives.
Does this configuration include IRONCLAD?
Yes. IC-PD5 is included.
