Take a piece of the Wild West with you to the range with the Cowboy Action Targets and PT Practice Stand. The PT Practice collapses to less than 3 feet long, making it easy to take to the range. It is also durable enough to withstand the punishment of daily cowboy action training.
The PT Practice Stand comes with your choice of 10 different official CAS shapes made from 3/8" AR500 armor steel so it can withstand anything from .22 to .44 Magnum as well as cowboy action rifle loads* from as close as 10 yards. Each target has a perfectly flat shooting surface with no exposed bolts, clamps, or brackets and is angled forward to direct dangerous ricochet and splatter into the ground. The PT Practice Stand also comes with the option for a 1" x 2" Target Holder which attaches to the stand and allows you to shoot on paper and cardboard targets by inserting 1" x 2" wood strips into the clamps and attach the target to the wood strips.
NOTE: The stand is made of mild steel and is not intended to withstand the force of a bullet. Shooting the stand may result in damage.

FAQsHow does my PT Practice Stand ship?: The stand ships pre-assembled and collapsed. It comes with two lock nuts, two wing nuts, and two carriage bolts. You can use the wing nuts to mount the target head by hand, or use a 3/4" socket to mount the target head with lock nuts.
Does the name "PT Practice Stand" apply to a specific target head?: The name "PT Practice Stand" applies to the collapsible stand and not to a particular target head. Because the bolt holes are all the same, you can attach any Action Target target head to the PT Practice stand as long as it isn't too heavy (e.g. PT IPSC Torso, PT IPSC Hostage, PT IPSC A-Zone, etc.).
Can I shoot rifle ammunition at a cowboy action (CAS) target head?: The CAS shapes target heads are made of 3/8" AR500 steel and are designed for centerfire handgun and cowboy action loads. Shooting high-powered rifle rounds at CAS shapes target heads will result in damage.
Why are there two sets of bolt holes on the stand?: The PT Practice Stand has two setting. The high setting is 3' tall, and the lower setting is 2' tall. You can set it to the lower setting by pulling the neck back 90 degrees and then pushing down until it locks in place. You can then mount a target head using the bolt holes located on the front of the round handle. The lower setting provides increased stability for heavier target heads (e.g. PT Torso, PT Hostage, etc.).
