DESCRIPTION
Ballistic face masks and half masks give officers hard-armour protection for the face and jaw, the area a helmet and a vest both leave exposed. Every mask on this page is rated ballistic protection — not a dust mask, riot face shield or fabric covering — and is intended to be worn with a ballistic helmet during warrant service, corrections movements, tactical entry and crowd-control deployments where thrown objects and fragmentation are the realistic threat.
The range covers NIJ Level IIIA soft-armour masks that add minimal weight to an existing helmet setup, full and half-face configurations, and carbon-steel masks built for repeated impact rather than concealment. Level IIIA stops most common handgun rounds including 9mm and .44 Magnum; nothing on this page is a substitute for a rifle-rated plate.
