The Infantry Combat Helmet is constructed of Kevlar® or Spectra composite materials and its performance consistently meets or exceeds 2,150 fps (655 MPS) V50 Ballistic Test Data when measured against a MIL-STD-662E which requires a minimum of 2,000 fps (609 Mps).
It is one of the finest armor headgear for protection from exploding shrapnel and fragmentation. The ergonomically engineered design is lightweight and has ideal distribution of mass over the head centerline.
This results in a minimum moment of inertia, and therefore no lag is following head movement. Available in standard olive green.
The two-component polyurethane paint allows decontamination after exposure to liquid chemical agents. Adjustable and replaceable standard 2-point suspension system and headband. Integrated outer shell and suspension system provides a stable, snug fit. Options include accessory impact padding required for paratrooper applications; 3 point retention system with chin cup and quick release
