Bomb detection products: since 2001 bomb detection
Bomb detection products: since 2001 bomb detection technologies are improving constantly.
To the first responders there are several options available to deal with bomb detection:
Bomb sniffing dogs .trained K-9 units are the first to find our if a suspect object has any traces on explosives on it.
If K-9 is not available or can not determine for certain, the team can deploy a portable x ray bomb detection unit , its quick and safe . Without moving the suspect object a trained EOD personnel can find out the contents of a suspect item using X ray on location.
In the event the object is a bomb it can be neutralized on location if its safe, by using bomb disposal robot, or other methods or transport the item in a bomb safe container to a safe area to be terminated.
