BOMB/Ballistic BLANKET Level 11
Tested to MILSPEC and NATO Stanag 17-gram Fragment V50 550m/s.Our Bomb and Ballistic blankets will also offer protection against blast and fragments as follows:
Level IIA - V50 @ 450m/s
Level 11- V50 @ 550m/s
Level III-A - V50 @ 620 m/s
Made with multiple layers of treated KEVLAR 129HT 1100 Dtex, ballistic fabric conforming to the protection level required and then sewn into a fire retardant, water repellent nylon cover.
Will contain explosions from a large variety of bombs. eg Sixteen sq.feet of coverage provides substantial protection; yet the blanket is light enough (2.71kg) to be carried by one man.
These bullet-resistant units are also available in ballistic protection up to Level III-A.
All blankets are available in the standard sizes offered, plus custom sizes and configurations available on request. A nylon web loop near the 4 corners is standard.
In high magnitude explosions the blanket rises to a parachute con-figuration while the sides drop to contain the blast.
